@ruffydfire You actually need a brain reset. It's no longer ordinarily. Something is wrong with your higher centre with your selective outcry. Your temu shares bathroom slippers during his campaign for the governorship . Go and verify! Dwarf!
@ruffydfire Bọbọ, kindly get yourself checked medically. It seems you have Noonan Syndrome, which is also known as "Male Turner Syndrome".
Stop all this shenanigans journalism; it won't lead to "Ebute ire". Be wise!
@LegendaryJoe Happy belated birthday!
They say the pen is mightier than the sword, but yours is pure gold. May you always have the right words at the right moment, the wisdom to know when to use them, and the power to make them matter. Cheers to you and the legacy you're writing.
DESTINY IS NOT ON YOUR SIDE - OH YE SERIAL ASPIRANT
Protest won’t get you the Presidency, otherwise Sowore would already be serving a third term by now. The cock may crow at dawn, but it does not make the sun rise. Activism is not your path; you are not wired for that battlefield.
Interviews and space rantings won’t get you the Presidency, otherwise Adebayo of the SDP would have long been sworn in back in 2023. You possess neither the eloquence nor the intelligence, even your cadence betrays you - leadership is not a podcast audition. The people may applaud a speaker, but they only entrust power to a doer.
Even politics itself won’t get you the Presidency, otherwise Atiku would have taken the oath since 2003. Mere politicking - entering into covenant with the 'structure of criminality' cannot substitute for that rare, magnetic pull of the people.
That pull is born from track-records of excellence, from outstanding antecedents, from a visionary persona that makes citizens see tomorrow in your eyes.
It is why we urge leaders: offer your very best in whatever role you occupy, however small it may seem. Sweep your corner of history with excellence. Govern your village with successful mark before dreaming of ruling a nation. For when greater doors swing open, you must be able to point to yesterday as evidence for tomorrow.
Power does not reward ambition alone - it rewards preparation proven over time.
Good Afternoon Severally...
THE MENACE OF FAKE DRUGS - HOW WE ARE ALL COMPLICIT
WE ARE ALL VIVIAN
Once upon a time, a young woman named Vivian fell ill. She had a sister - not just any sister, but one whose love burned with the kind of fire that does not take “no” for an answer. This sister wanted her whole again, and she was willing to spend whatever it took to make that happen.
She went to a reputable hospital, demanded the strongest prescription, and purchased the most expensive brands from one of Nigeria’s most trusted pharmacies. The drugs looked perfect - sealed, polished, legitimate. She was a pharmacist herself; she had every reason to believe in their authenticity.
But beneath those glossy labels lay death. The drugs were fake - empty shells of medicine with no life-saving ingredient. Vivian’s illness was treatable, yet she deteriorated swiftly. She did not die of her disease; she was murdered by greed, slain by the invisible hands of counterfeit merchants who profit from slow poison.
That loss shattered her sister - but it also forged her will into steel. She made a private vow: “No other Nigerian should die because of fake drugs if I can help it.”
Did I forget to mention her name? No, I didn't, the elder sister was so named - Professor Dora Nkem Akunyili.
When fate placed her at the helm of NAFDAC in 2001, she turned grief into a national crusade. Her war was not just regulatory - it was moral, spiritual, and deeply personal. She hunted down fake drug barons with the fury of a mother avenging her child, and her name became a terror in the underworld of deceit. She restored international faith in Nigeria’s medicines and gave the nation something priceless - hope. Because to her, WE ARE ALL VIVIAN.
FROM THE VALLEYS TO THE MOUNTAINS
But I fear the valley Dora once conquered has now become a mountain range of ruin. What was once a menace has matured into a monster. Fake drugs have evolved from a side hustle to a multi-billion naira empire. Counterfeit foods and drinks no longer hide in the shadows - they have now graduated into brazen institutions, factories of doom, selling death by instalment.
Today, the Nigerian is unsafe in sickness - for the medicine that promises healing may be a weapon. And the Nigerian is unsafe in health - for the next sip of whisky he takes in celebration may become acid in his belly.
How many more must perish before we treat this for what it is - a national emergency?
Do we remember the “My Pikin” tragedy of 2008, where over 80 babies died after taking teething syrup laced with a deadly industrial chemical, diethylene glycol? Parents watched in agony as their infants slipped away.
Do we recall April 12, 2025, when NAFDAC uncovered a depot in Umumeje Village, Abia, where expired drugs were repackaged and expiry dates altered to deceive the public?
Do we remember Bridge Head Market, Onitsha, where on February 18, 2025, ten trucks loaded with counterfeit and expired drugs were intercepted?
Do we remember Aba Eziukwu Market, January 2025, where 150 shops - yes, one hundred and fifty - were sealed for trading in fake and expired goods: drugs, drinks, powdered milk, even noodles?
And Onne Port, Rivers State, August 2025 - where 16 containers of fake and banned drugs worth over ₦20.5 billion were seized?
Each case is not just a crime. It is an obituary and sadly, these aren't isolated events; they are acts of murderous desperation writ large.
WE ARE ALL COMPLICIT
But the truth is - the evil thrives because we enable it.
How did we honour Dora, the woman who bled for this cause? Rumours whisper she may have been poisoned by the same dark cartel she fought. Her husband, Dr. Chike Akunyili, was slaughtered in cold blud on the streets of Anambra. Yet, we now see Nigerians queuing behind the sympathizers of the same terror group that spilled his blood - even planning marches for the release of their kingpin.

@LegendaryJoe You're actually an epitome of classical knowledge, and you dwell in the realm of wisdom.
I have never been disappointed by any of your epistles and response to inquiry.

Dear Yorubas, you come from a long history of Giants, do not be unfortunate to sell yourself cheap.
My heartfelt thanks to President Lula @LulaOficial for the extraordinary warmth and honour he extended to me and my delegation, crowned by a truly memorable almoço at the Itamaraty Palace.
Our conversations were not mere protocol. They carried purpose and delivered action. Five MoUs in trade, aviation, science, finance, and diplomacy now chart a path from intentions to implementation for our two countries.
I welcome Petrobras's potential return to Nigeria. This move will re-energise our oil and gas sector and unlock wider economic opportunities for our people.
From new direct flights between Nigeria and Brazil, knowledge transfer, to joint work in technology, food security, and clean energy, we are opening fresh horizons together, built on a vision of a stronger global south partnership.
Obrigado, Brasil, for the friendship, the feijoada, and for proving once again that we share one future across the Atlantic.

@LegendaryJoe I have never been disappointed by your thought. You're a great writer. Your pen is a master class. Asiwaju is a great political mathematician. A visionary leader, and a worthy leader that needs to be studied for political success in Nigeria in particular and Africa in general.
@AyoOguntade My Hippocratic brother, I wonder for some of our guys, the thinking faculty is obviously faulty with bias. This particular guy isn't cerebral at all. He's a disgrace to the Member of Big Boys Society (MBBS).
@renoomokri Those idiots are truly headless mobs. They lack substance and intellectual capacity to make a genuine and appropriate decision. Perhaps, it's in their genes.
@MartinsEsq1@oluwatayofem@Onsogbu@PeterObi Age is nothing but number, we have had young people at the helm of affairs of this country whether as a State/Federal House of assembly speaker, Senate President, Governors, Ministers, Commissioners etc what have done done difference?
