Raw LaserSpeed velocity data is interesting as it shows COM velocity oscillations across the gait cycle. Advanced smoothing of fluctuations by @MuscleLabSystem revels the underlying forward velocity, that at the end of the day what matters😉
Less than five minutes to set up LaserSpeed and attach two IMUs for a deep step-by-step analysis (60 m here) — a huge strength of the @MuscleLabSystem 👌
Assisted sprinting evolved from wind to mechanics in the ’90s (film) A major leap came with @musclelabsystem encoders for data output, Today, robotic systems dominates -but effectiveness varies…
Great to see @HFJumps using technology to solve problems instead of adding unnecessary complexity.
Good technology requires great methodology. A lot of big purchases have failed because companies forgot that the application must get results.
Had the privilege of being the coach of @Tarnhuvud throughout the majority of his long & successful career. Always passionate, professional, humble & meticulous in developing both his strengths & his weaknesses.
Relevant & purposeful mobility is an advantage for all athletes🙏🏻
In simultaneous measurements, DynaSpeed shows greater raw oscillation due to line and attachment-point motion compared to LaserSpeed. However, thanks to excellent smoothing algorithms, the velocity curves align perfectly! Data You Can Trust by @MuscleLabSystem
LaserSpeed camera combined with miniature foot-mounted IMUs and an advanced algorithm enables real-time, step-by-step gait analysis. High end technology by @MuscleLabSystem
I was never a big fan of supramaximal sprinting, but controlled assisted sprinting is a great tool. Back in the 90s, a clever mechanic built an inexpensive machine for us that’s still spinning👌
In my view, the only truly event-specific strength training for acceleration is resisted sprinting, which caps velocity to isolate and overload specific parts of the acceleration curve, targeting projection, postures, and force patterns of that phase! DynaSpeed @MuscleLabSystem
Often program resisted sprinting with a gradual reduction in resistance -e.g., 16% at 0 m and 1% at 30 m -much appreciated! DynaSpeed by @MuscleLabSystem
