وزیراعظم محمد شہباز شریف کی زیر صدارت نجی سرمایہ کاری کے فروغ اور پائیدار معاشی ترقی سے متعلق اجلاس آج اسلام آباد میں منعقد ہوا.

وزیراعظم نے ہدایت کی کہ ملک میں سرمایہ کاری اور چھوٹے اور درمیانے درجے کے کاروبار کے فروغ کے لیے پرائیویٹ ایکویٹی فنڈ (Private Equity Fund) کے قیام کے حوالے سے لائحہ عمل جلد از جلد پیش کیا جائے. ملک میں پبلک ایکویٹی مارکیٹ اور پرائیویٹ ایکویٹی فنڈ کے فروغ کے لیے جامع روڈ میپ تیار کرکے جلد پیش کیا جائے، تاکہ ملک میں سرمایہ کاری کے لئے فنڈز دستیاب ہوں اور غیر ملکی سرمایہ کاری کے لئے راہ ہموار ہو۔

وزیرِ اعظم نے گفتگو کے دوران کہا کہ ملک کی معاشی ترقی کے لیے نجی سرمایہ کاری کا فروغ ناگزیر ہے. پرائیویٹ ایکویٹی فنڈ معیشت میں سرمایہ کاری، کاروباری وسعت اور روزگار کے مواقع پیدا کرنے کے لیے ایک مؤثر محرک کا کردار ادا کر سکتے ہیں. معدنیات، زراعت، لائیو اسٹاک، توانائی، انفارمیشن ٹیکنالوجی (آئی ٹی) اور دیگر شعبے پاکستان کی معیشت کی ترقی کے بنیادی محرک بننے کی صلاحیت رکھتے ہیں.

وزیرِ اعظم نے مزید کہا کہ ان شعبوں میں سرمایہ کاری کے لیے پبلک ایکویٹی مارکیٹ ایک اہم ذریعہ بن سکتی ہے. بینکاری شعبے کی جانب سے سرمایہ کاری کا حجم ابھی بھی محدود ہے، جس کے باعث متبادل سرمایہ کاری ذرائع کو فروغ دینا وقت کی اہم ضرورت ہے. حکومت ایسے اقدامات کو ترجیح دے رہی ہے ج�� نجی شعبے کی قیادت میں سرمایہ کاری، صنعت اور برآمدات کے فروغ کے ذریعے پاکستان کی معیشت کو مضبوط اور پائیدار بنیادوں پر استوار کریں.

اجلاس میں نائب وزیراعظم و وزیر خارجہ محمد اسحاق ڈار، وزیر مملکت برائے خزانہ ب��ال اظہر کیانی، معاون خصوصی ہارون اختر اور متعلقہ اداروں کے اعلیٰ افسران شریک تھے۔

Just concluded a productive visit to Shanghai, China. I express my sincere appreciation to the Government of the People’s Republic of China and its leadership for its warm hospitality and excellent arrangements throughout my short visit.

I also commend H.E. President Xi Jinping for his insightful keynote address at the opening ceremony of the World AI Cooperation Organization. As President Xi aptly observed, “AI is an invaluable asset that accumulates the collective wisdom of humanity”—a timely reminder that this transformative technology carries both immense promise and a shared responsibility to ensure it serves the common good.

I am particularly grateful to my great friend H.E. Foreign Minister Wang Yi for his warm hospitality and our productive discussions. We reaffirmed our shared commitment to the continued advancement of the Pakistan–China All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership, with a special focus on high-quality development under CPEC 2.0, including the Siah Diq mining project, Karakoram Highway (KKH) Realignment Project, as well as other priority areas of bilateral cooperation agreed between our two countries during the official visit of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif @CMShehbaz in May 2025.

I also commend the valuable contributions of my accompanying delegation, including Ms. Shaza Fatima Khawaja, Minister for Information Technology & Telecommunications; Mr. Ali Mustafa Dar, Adviser to the Chief Minister of Punjab on Artificial Intelligence and Special Initiatives; Mr. Bilal Bin Saqib, Chairman of the Pakistan Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (PVARA); and Dr. Syed Asad Ali Gillani, Additional Secretary (Asia Pacific), whose dedication helped make this visit both productive and successful.
