Allāh Taʿālā states: “If one observes the sanctity of the symbols of God, then such things emanate from the piety of the hearts.” [Qurʾān, 22:32]

We need to keep this verse in mind no matter what we do. Unfortunately, there are some common practices among Muslims that contravene Islamic etiquette and adab, which need our attention and correction. Some of these are:

— Feet towards the Qurʾān or any Islamic book.
— Feet towards the Qiblah.
— Feet towards one’s parents.
— Feet towards teachers and elders.
