This is false. Eviction cases have been backlogged since the beginning of the pandemic, that’s two years that homeowners and landlords had to wait without being paid rent to get a court appearance. In no way should the courts slow down to accommodate one party.

@KewpieKewpz @MBPMarkLevine Small landlords are suffering, some with 1 or 2 rental units. Some without being paid for 2 years. How is that right? How is it right for a landlord to be forced to support a non paying tenant, meanwhile have to pay taxes and heat and water etc. How is that right?
