I loved this conversation with Sarah Blanchette of Home Base. ❤️

Sarah served in the Air Force, came through Home Base’s Intensive Clinical Program, and this year stood in front of more than 3,000 people at the Run to Home Base as our keynote testimonial speaker~ sharing her own story of what it took to ask for help.

And one part of that story I think is SO important to talk about: asking for help again.

When life got really hard, Sarah reached back out to Home Base.

Not because the program didn’t work. Not because she failed. Because sometimes we need to go back into that toolbox and use what we’ve learned~ and sometimes we need someone there with us again.

Home Base was there.

And Sarah’s story has another pretty amazing chapter now~ she joined the Home Base team in Southwest Florida this past December (!!), helping serve fellow veterans in the community that once served her.
