This coward, "General" Muhoozi Kainerugaba @mkainerugaba, Uganda's military @MODVA_UPDF chief, who went into hiding yesterday when Ugandans and pro democracy and human rights campaigners held a peaceful demonstration at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst @RMASandhurst,
against the training of his son Ruhamya Kainerugaba at Sandhurst, and who together with his father, dictator @KagutaMuseveni presides over abductions, torture, rapes, enforced disappearances, arbitrary detentions of political opponents for prolonged period on made up charges and media shutdown, had sneaked into London at night and is at a private members club on Pall Mall in central London, drinking expensive whisky, paid for by the impoverished Ugandan taxpayers and regime's apologists, while citizens in Uganda wallow in extreme poverty, and while Sam Mugumya, John Bosco Kibalama, Peter Kirya, Wangolo Shafic, and John Ddamulira, and other political prisoners are either dead or rotting at Entebbe's and Kampala's torture dungeons.

Shame on the Labour government for letting such a monster into the UK.

Shortly after the election, Semujju strongly criticized Bobi Wine for leaving Uganda, accusing him of abandoning the struggle and questioning why he had chosen to flee rather than remain and confront the Museveni regime.

But now Semujju is in exile himself—and suddenly, the picture looks very different.

In a striking moment of reflection, the former Kira Municipality MP admitted that when he made those comments, he had not fully understood the magnitude of the danger Bobi Wine was facing.

Semujju now appears genuinely regretful about those remarks, acknowledging that sometimes you don't understand why someone made a desperate decision until you find yourself standing in the same storm.

And perhaps that is the biggest lesson from this story: it's easy to accuse someone of running away when you're watching the battle from a distance. It's very different when the danger comes knocking at your own door.

Semujju is now experiencing exile for himself, and his perspective has clearly changed.

He once questioned why Bobi Wine left. Now he's explaining why he himself had to leave.
