It’s not just Iran.
It’s Lebanon.
In less than 2 weeks, Israel has killed 570 people and displaced 750,000 — over 10% of the entire country. Residential buildings are being bombed with no warning.
The U.S. cannot continue to be complicit in Netanyahu’s wars.
Ana Kasparian is being praised across the United States after she suggested that we should airdrop Lindsey Graham into the middle of a war in Iran or Lebanon and let him fight the wars he wants our soldiers to fight.
"Why don't we just airdrop Lindsey Graham into the middle of Iran or Lebanon right now?"

Americans, this is your tax dollars at work. Eventually your government will use this same violence against you. It’s already happening.
“None of us carries any weapons.”
“We carry nothing but kindness, goodness, love and prayer.”
These were the words of Father Pierre El Rahi.
Today, Israel killed him in South Lebanon.
A priest with prayers. Murdered in broad daylight.
🇱🇧“My son Anis is buried here.” An elderly man from Nabatieh, southern Lebanon breaks down in tears as he stands over the grave of his son, killed during Israeli occupation attacks on the south. His grief spills out as he speaks of loss, saying a father should never have to bury his own child. For him, the pain is not only the death of Anis, but the feeling that those left behind have been abandoned.
He says families in southern Lebanon are struggling to survive after bombardment, displacement and the destruction of homes and livelihoods. Villages have emptied as people flee the threat of Israeli occupation attacks, yet many residents say help from the Lebanese government has been slow or absent.
Standing beside the rubble, the old man says people of the south feel forgotten. They bury their dead, rebuild what they can, and carry on alone. In his tears for Anis lies the quiet anguish of many families across southern Lebanon who say they are paying the price of a war while receiving little support in return.

Forced displacement is a war crime, and it’s becoming more of a risk.
Only yesterday, the Israeli military called for the evacuation of the entire area south of the Litani River, approximately 8% of Lebanon’s territory and home to hundreds of thousands of people.
Today, they issued displacement orders for all residents of the southern suburbs of Beirut, one of the most densely populated areas in the country.
Netanyahu is the extremist who killed 75,000 in Gaza.
The extremist who said invading Iraq would create "enormous positive reverberations."
The extremist who has pushed U.S. presidents to go to war with Iran for decades.
Finally, he found a President who said yes.
Tragic.
For Lebanon we must act.
Everything must be done to prevent this country, so close to France, from once again being drawn into war.
The Lebanese have a right to peace and security—like everyone in the Middle East.
It is to halt the war and prevent the worst that, following my exchanges with President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu, I spoke today with Lebanon’s highest authorities in order to establish a plan to bring an end to the military operations currently being carried out by Hezbollah and Israel on either side of the border.
Hezbollah must immediately cease its fire toward Israel. Israel must refrain from any ground intervention or large-scale operation on Lebanese territory.
The Lebanese authorities have given me their commitment to take control of the positions held by Hezbollah and to fully assume responsibility for security across the entire national territory. I give them my full support.
France will strengthen its cooperation with the Lebanese Armed Forces and will provide them with armored transport vehicles, as well as operational and logistical support.
The French detachment within the United Nations Force in Lebanon is also continuing its mission in the south of the country.
Concerned about the displacement of tens of thousands of Lebanese civilians currently fleeing the south, I have decided on the immediate dispatch of humanitarian aid for them.
Several tons of medicines are being transported, along with shelter solutions and assistance. This is a testament to the friendship the French feel toward the Lebanese.
At this moment of great danger, I call on the Israeli Prime Minister not to expand the war to Lebanon.
I call on Iranian leaders not to further draw Lebanon into a war that is not its own.
Hezbollah must renounce its weapons, respect the national interest, show that it is not a militia taking orders from abroad, and allow the Lebanese to come together to preserve their country.
Moments like these are what guardianship stole from us for 14 long months of isolation, followed by 2 years of limited contact.
This is my Mom, visiting with her great-grandchild — precious memories she was cruelly denied when a court system that should have protected her instead isolated and neglected her.
We were not bad children. We were not unfit. We were her family — her advocates — and still, a judge allowed her to be cut off from all of us except a granddaughter who basically kidnapped her, changed her estate plan, and filed personal protection orders so she could isolate, manipulate and control her. In the three years since, the only changes have been the rapid decline of her health, mind and spirit.
Now, after irreparable harm, I am finally her guardian. But there has been no accountability. No justice. No apology.
Guardianship is supposed to protect — but for too many, it becomes the weapon that destroys.
The judges, attorneys, and guardians who failed her, who enabled her neglect, who silenced our family — they should be behind bars, not behind a bench.
If you think this could never happen to your family, think again.

Commentary: Immigrants commit fewer crimes, pay taxes and do critical jobs most Americans don’t want. Springfield’s immigrant influx is a success story not a scandal. Desperate, lying politicians threaten regional recovery, not immigrants.
