When the regulatory body itself practices academic apartheid as a policy, it emboldens non-clinical medicos to aggressively participate in it at their level.
Our petition has been languishing in the Delhi High Court since 2020, thanks to the dysfunctional judicial system.
The government is more concerned with petty politics than with implementing reforms. We would like to remind the government of its commitment to raj dharm and antyoday.
We can only ask our members to stay hopeful.

In the Mahabharata, Ekalavya and Karna were discriminated against because they didn't belong to the royal lineage, despite being exemplary archers. The same mentality continues with the @NMC_IND, which considers faculties with medical MSc./Ph.D. qualifications as not belonging to the privileged class. Times have changed, but the casteist mentality still persists. Those discriminating always have justifications for their actions, but they never care how it feels to be at the receiving end. Shame on the NMC and its cohorts for practicing academic apartheid. The role of the government is increasingly urgent in this situation, as it must intervene and address the anomaly. @PMOIndia@narendramodi@MoHFW_INDIA@OfficeOf_MM@mansukhmandviya
Expectedly, the ill-conceived plan to create more non-clinical medicos out of low-merit candidates has flopped miserably as most PG seats in the non-clinical disciplines still remain vacant.

NMC must stop offering MD courses in non-clinical disciplines; medical graduates interested in them may take up medical MSc courses in the same subjects. Only clinical specialties must be offered for MD/MS courses.
@MoHFW_INDIA
Section 45(2) of the NMC Act explicitly states,
"the decision of the Central Government whether a question is one of policy or not
shall be final," the NMC has audaciously disregarded the explicit orders of the
government. This disregard not only violates the Act but also signifies a concerning
insubordination towards the government's directives, setting a troubling precedent
that must not be taken lightly. While the NMC disobeys the union government with impunity and fearlessness, the latter stands humbled as a mute spectator.
What irony!! The body that doesn't think twice before destroying the earning capacity of others, is talking about professional ethics!! What would you write in the book? How to destroy lives?? Yes, you would excel in that! https://t.co/UKYU0pl1Ge
Is ghost faculty more important than non MBBS faculty to uplift the medical education system? Wake up....
@NMC_IND need to b reformed with NON MBBS MEMBERS in line with international practices to make it BEHAVE. @PMOIndia@narendramodi@MoHFW_INDIA@mansukhmandviya@NITIAayog
When we said the same thing, it was ignored, now?
@IMAIndiaOrg why double standards about quality? Present officers advocated dilution of quality in the name of NEET PG cut off.
@MoHFW_INDIA , you will find that all our submissions are true.

@MoHFW_INDIA you must understand the Incompetencies of the NMC.
@NMMTA_Assn
While nobody can guarantee job security, @NMC_IND is causing job insecurity for those who are already employed.
NMC is taking away jobs from individuals, only to allocate them to its own people, even if they happen to be low-merit individuals with negative scores in NEET-PG.
@PMOIndia, does this align with the goal of job creation, or does it signify job loss? This unjust act of depriving someone of their livelihood is a sin.

On one hand they tell public and represent to the authorities in the system, that, one should be clinically knowledgeable for non clinical branches and thus could successfully lobby for the removal of #MScMedicinePostgraduate Medical Teachers and on the other they tell non clinical branches are not associated with patient care hence need not worry about #ZeroPercentile #MedTwitter Is not this #Nepotism Is Medical Education the new industry of Nepotistic products with no quality. @PMOIndia@mansukhmandviya@DrBharatippawar@mkstalin@ShashiTharoor@Jairam_Ramesh@IndJMedEthics@Xpress_edex@India_NHRC
Medical MSc and MD courses in Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Pharmacology, and Microbiology are often conducted concurrently in many medical colleges.
On one hand, students pursuing medical MSc courses invest lakhs of rupees of money in their postgraduate education. On the other hand, MD students not only pay no tuition fees but also receive scholarships.
This discrepancy raises concerns of discrimination and misuse of the educational monopoly. Why the desperate urge to create non-clinical medicos???
