Was looking up some images for a future project and found this stunning example of Kelvin-Helmholtz instability. This occurs where two atmospheric layers have different densities and different velocities: the (dry) upper layer here is less dense but moving faster. Fluctus clouds.
Hey, @ThePlantCell, I made a plant cell! Ok, to be fair there is some “artistic license” going on in my version. To take slices I use something more like a guillotine than a microtome, they come out much straighter than when I “hand-section”.
