Our corporate overlords and ruling elite have decided that our nation's wealth is better spent supporting destruction overseas than it is protecting the health of everyone at home. Help us continue the fight for healthcare justice into 2022! https://t.co/ct0ZYmqPMB
MORE THAN 330 @1199SEIU NYC MEMBERS have signed our petition calling on our newly-elected union leaders to rescind 1199's endorsement of @andrewcuomo!
Please share our petition with 1199ers & healthcare workers in your life https://t.co/GWj670345X
And remember #DontRankCuomo!
Cuomo’s COVID nursing home policy killed over 15,000 seniors. Families are still grieving. Still demanding answers. But Cuomo refuses to face them — no apology, no accountability.
We won’t forget. We won’t let him rewrite history.

It was wonderful to meet with the brave nurses at @nynurses in Albany last week.
Nurses are fighting for safe staffing enforcement, pay parity, and safer working conditions and they deserve nothing less.
I sincerely enjoyed talking to my Trump voter cab driver here in Vegas bc it is so clear that the right candidate to run on a persuasive platform centering truly affordable healthcare is going to fucking SWEEP.
Medicaid covers:

- 4 in 10 children

Just got a notice from our insurance company, Oscar Health, that the life saving medication our 9-year-old daughter needs to live has been rejected because they decided—CONTRARY TO HER DOCTOR—that her medication is "Not Medically Necessary."
Her meds costs ~$200K+ a year. The insurance industry raked in $88 BILLION in profits last year.
I am disgusted & beyond outraged. Posting full details soon on this injustice & how my wife Ayesha and I are fighting back: https://t.co/E9vsj25tKE

Our healthcare system has been set up to collapse from the beginning. Somehow though, our leaders become suddenly deaf as we cry for universal single payer. As we call out with urgency, watching our loved ones suffer and even die. Here’s the proof – will you hear the alarms now??
Remembering the time we ended up sitting next to each other waiting to be processed after we were arrested in the capitol fighting Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court nomination. Just so impressed at what seemed to be his boundless energy. Memories like that help me keep up my own momentum
the conversation we recorded with ady and two former young lords, juan gonzalez and denise oliver-velez, about the past, present, and future of health activism ❤️ https://t.co/x4JDbS8hTO
Ady was such an important voice in the fight for #MedicareForAll. May his memory be a blessing.
The healthcare activism community lost an important leader, but together we’ll take up the banner & continue the fight, bc healthcare is a human right & we stand united in Ady’s name
