They suck out all the top kids from local clubs who are actually doing the work. The local clubs get nothing in return for their effort. The closed @ussoccer structure enables @MLS to poach talent without consequence or compensation. The pay to play cycle continues.

@jon_townsend3@danielworkman I believe you're getting warmer to changing the way players should be developed. Programs like mine produce quality talent that are constantly being overlooked. Buying in to US Soccer and US Youth Soccer's systems, misses the point of National opportunities. #givebacktolocalclubs
@ussoccer_coach@ussoccer How does one apply? These types of aid to a coach like myself could have helped me 26 years ago when I first started coaching. Sacrificed everything I have for our teams; financial struggles of having a team play in the #USYouthOpenCup and it's overpriced youth leagues
@alike_no@mommyjrd @blackonthegram @CoachWilly1875 Contradictory of what is preached versus what is administered. The chaos of youth development lies here. Coaches who don't profit from youth are more adept to player development, and once US Soccer identify and hire these type of coaches, US Soccer will grow.
