FDOT is dedicated to the preservation of our communities & we're proud to have a robust cultural resources office that works with archeologists to preserve historic finds. FL is rich in history and as a history buff, I appreciate the value these elements contribute to our state.
Progress is being made! Here are a few more photographs of what SEARCH archaeologists are excavating in St. Augustine. This was discovered late last week while crews were working at the King Street and State Road AIA drainage improvement project. Very cool!
