One month ago, we launched the AI and Tech Accountability Reporting Fellowship, which we are proud to implement as part of our portfolio work with @aicollectiveng. The fellowship started with a three-day virtual intensive training for journalists and researchers interested in exploring the social implications of AI and holding stakeholders accountable, with a strong emphasis on ethics and tech accountability.
Today, we are excited to announce 20 excellent fellows who have emerged from those training sessions and weeks of reviewing story pitches!
In the next three months, these fellows will receive editorial guidance, mentorship, and funding support to produce at least three in-depth stories on AI and tech accountability.
Can you spot a fellow on the flyer? Tag/mention them in the comment section, let's celebrate them! 🚀🚀

We're glad to have @Nathsdaughter at the next #NLNGChangeYourStory#digitalmedia workshop, sponsored by @nigeriaLNG.
Lead trainer: @masondan
The training, she says, will be "an excellent opportunity to learn about the power of digital journalism".
Without strict monitoring in d Nig health sector, lives of pregnant women and babies are endangered as untrained nurses &midwives become sole providers of maternal care. @Nathsdaughter & I probe why these quacks see high patronage despite d risks.https://t.co/7LJBwuYXFM @PRBdata
