The hidden genocide in Ethiopia’s Oromia region: Reports show that the death toll in Wellega has increased to the hundreds due to state-sponsored genocide committed by Abiy Ahmed’s ENDF alongside Oromo regional forces against Orthodox civilians, mainly ethnic Amharas.
If Impunity Is the Constitution, There Is No Nation!
A burning house is not “complexity.” It is a decision.
How does anyone do this to a defenseless person? First in language. Recode a farmer, a mother, a child as settler, invader, historical enemy, “problem” - and the fire starts to look like housekeeping. Then the state does not punish it. Then the world does not watch. Then someone films, and nobody in power arrives.
Atrocity is not a mystery of biology. It is a failure of law, leadership, and the story of who is allowed to live.
When civilians in Oromia are driven out, shot, or made to watch their homes go up in flames, the question is not whether the victims were human. They were. The question is why some Ethiopian deaths are treated as a crisis and others are rationalized away like the "weather".

Selective outrage is not neutrality. It is permission.
To the Amhara: your grief is not propaganda. Your dead are not a talking point. But if pain becomes a theology that every Oromo child is guilty, you inherit the same ideology that lit those roofs. Demand protection, investigation, return, and punishment of perpetrators -not a future built on reciprocal cleansing.
A nation is shared only with people who refuse to hunt their neighbors. Everyone else is occupying the land, not living in a country.

To media outlets, human rights organizations, international community and everyone who values human life please pay attention to what’s happening to #Amharas in #Ethiopia especially in Wellega #Oromia. What’s happening there is horrifying. People are being killed, homes and entire villages burned, and families displaced. This is a targeted attack backed by the #Oromo dominated @AbiyAhmedAli government. This suffering shouldn’t be ignored. @BBCWorldService@BBC News @Fox News @Human Rights Watch @Human Rights Campaign @CNN@ABC@firstpost
Ethiopia: Abiy Ahmed’s Oromo mercenaries are killing civilian Christians, who are ethnic Amharas, in East Wollega, while the PM is drone-striking schools and hospitals in the Amhara and Tigray regions. The picture depicts a priest who was killed by Abiy’s Geda mercenaries.
🚨 **𝗔 𝗖𝗿𝘆 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗢𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗮: “𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗨𝘀!”**
“Our houses were burned. We were looted. Children are perishing. **Pregnant women have been killed. Monks have been killed. Churches have been burned.**
Amharas in Oromia are being **killed and displaced from their homes and ancestral lands.**
Elders who lived for 60, 70, even 80 years in the land where they were born and raised have been slaughtered.
And the question from those suffering is heartbreaking:
**“If there is a Federal Government of Ethiopia, please save us. Does a government exist for us?”**
They are not asking for privilege. They are asking for protection.
**“We are perishing. Please reach out to us. Federal Government of Ethiopia, if you truly exist, please save us!”**
How many more must die before someone listens?
**𝗔𝗺𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗢𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗮 𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.**
Please listen. Please do not look away. 🙏🏽
