My cousins were going for a trek and they didn't ask if I would like to join in because they thought I might not be fit enough for that. Made me put more effort on being fit again.

@tankots@WisprFlow After there is some error or delay in transcription, there is a toast message for the delay. That message is floating even after the transcript is complete for 2-3 seconds, which is really annoying.
@AdityaRajKaul The person next to him and her nephew are wanting to distance themselves from what she's saying. It shows they don't agree. ๐คฆ๐ฝโโ๏ธ
Growing up, I was deeply uncomfortable stealing ideas.
I overindexed on originality. Wanted to look different, sound different, think different.
With my last venture, Iโd proudly say โno one else is doing this.โ Which I now know is not the best thing.
But thereโs a difference between stealing and stealing like an artist.
Stealing like an artist: you absorb the core idea, develop your own takes, build conviction from your own lived experience.
Blatant stealing: you copy the solution without understanding why it works. No conviction. No original thinking. Just paste.
In the AI world, where everything is being reimagined and there are no clear answers on what works yet, I find the latter quite dangerous.
With the western supremacy hangover, we still have a tendency to look up to whatโs happening in the US and blatantly copy what is still early there.
Itโs only stealing like an artist that is likely to create outsized value, not a ctrl c + v.
@tankots There's an issue since two days. If I've selected two languages (English and Hinglish) it translates whatever I've said in English to Hinglish. On clicking retry it's back to normal.
@aniketshah30 Most 10 min food apps just reheat and it shows from their selection. I love Swish because they cook it fresh. You can just feel it. Omg, I'll have to order kachoris tomorrow!
@akhileshutup Most 10 min delivery apps reheat and deliver and their selection shows, I love Swish because they deliver it fresh. Like hot kachoris, omg!!
Twenty years ago we invaded Iraq. The war killed many innocent Iraqis and Americans. It destroyed the oldest Christian populations in the world. It cost over $1 trillion, and turned Iraq into a satellite of Iran. It was an unforced disaster, and I pray that we learn its lessons.
