My heart is full, my spirit renewed, and my faith is stronger than ever after being part of the #NationalEucharisticCongress. For almost a week, 60,000 people gathered in downtown Indianapolis to experience liturgies, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, musical and dramatic performances, panel discussions, a procession, and individual presentations on various topics related to the Eucharist. Life-giving and life-changing!

Kometa production relies on western manufacturing gear smuggled through illicit supply chains. If Russia loses an advanced SMT machine* or a specialized testing rig in a fire, they cannot easily build a replacement themselves, nor can they openly buy one from the global market due to strict international sanctions. Replacing the capital equipment to restart the line is an entirely different hurdle than Speer ever faced. /
*SMT: surface mount technology, the systems that silkscreen solder paste onto circuit boards, perfectly places chips on them and then precisely heats them to melt the solder & electrically bond the chips to the circuit board.
A May attack was small FPV drones that hit outside the admin building, this monster (perhaps multiple) directly penetrated the inner factory complex. The primary destruction isn't just to the outer walls, but to the highly specialized internal assets, including clean-room infrastructure, precision machine tools, and testing stands required to build "Kometa" drone antennas. But it gets worse.../
@cdrsalamander It’s like their leaders are taunting them, because they’ve been able to tut-tut well-meaning people into suicidal empathy for decades. The backlash won’t be pretty, but it will be entirely due to the Corbyns and Starmers of the UK
@ksorbs He’s SUPER mad they couldn’t suppress the video, and now he’s mad at people protesting the attack. “There’s no justification” ? People have been talked down to by the likes of @Keir_Starmer for 2+ decades, are furious with righteous anger & are ready to take their country back.

@elonmusk@WillKingston Across the world, leaders & media figures in authoritarian “democracies” are appalled not by the horrific attack, but that video of the attack was not censored. Reason #42069 I thank @elonmusk for buying Twitter and creating @X -a fatal blow to the censorship-industrial complex.
@PeterSweden7@RonColeman Governments & media showed their true colors by being angry at the video being shared, not the attack itself. @elonmusk & @X saved humanity from Orwellian rulers in the nick of time.

@MayraFlores4TX@frmikeschmitz had a great homily on @HallowApp recently entitled “Let It Be Done.” In the last book of Job, his faith had been changed. He went from “I believe *in* God” to “I believe God” - when we believe God, we say, as Mary did, “May it be done to me according to your word.”

Also why China’s Huawei must continue to be excluded from 5G networks.
<nerd stuff>
Up through 4G, mobile networks were essentially just bigger, faster pipes for transporting data. 5G adds something fundamentally different: it supports distributed storage and computing throughout the network, including at the edge (closer to the user). This enables lower latency for applications like autonomous vehicles, AR/VR, and industrial IoT.
The downside is a much larger security risk. Because data processing and storage now happen at many more points in the network—often in virtualized functions—the entire infrastructure must be trusted to handle traffic securely. With multiple operators, cloud providers, and equipment vendors involved, every link in the chain has to be trustworthy. A compromised vendor or operator can potentially inspect, alter, or redirect traffic in ways that were harder in earlier generations, which just passed encrypted packets from end to end.
This is why countries have banned or restricted untrusted vendors like China’s Huawei from their 5G networks: the risk of embedded backdoors or supply-chain compromise is too high when the network itself is doing more than just ‘passing packets.

@dsonoiki@DukeHerndon I saw "Sideways" right after I quit drinking. Wine culture can provide lots of cover & company. Watching Paul Giamatti's depressive oenophile character Miles decompose while clinging to his wine enthusiast/writer/sophisticate identity was sobering indeed. https://t.co/nN7q5lu06G
@KatiePavlich It's the Yellowstone scene come to life - cancel oil & gas leases, rip out sage brush for solar while spending money to protect the endangered sage-grouse.

@BrookeLRollins@elonmusk If states won't allow audits of how they spend Federal dollars, no Federal dollars. Audit chain must run all the way through state agencies, NGOs, contractors to recipients. This shouldn't be controversial.
@theDChuddle Love the matchup minute! Great idea, nice production graphics - hope you track shifts so we can see change over time (endorsements, gaffes, skeletons) and any races that may come into play. Love the time limit to keep things moving and distill key drivers. Awesome!
@CynicalPublius CynicalP's description of GenZ reporters comes directly from Ben Rhodes, former Deputy National Security Advisor for President Obama, who used their inexperience, lack of knowledge & eagerness to be spoon-fed Democrat narratives to sell the Iran deal.
https://t.co/tZU6oYsRq6
As Ben Rhodes described how they spun the Iran deal: "The average reporter we talk to is 27 years old, and their only reporting experience consists of being around political campaigns. That’s a sea change. They literally know nothing.”
