NCC Directorate Gujarat celebrated the 12th International Day of Yoga 2026 across *158 locations* , including *15 iconic venues* such as *Statue of Unity, Somnath Temple, Atal Bridge, Modhera Sun Temple and Dandi Beach.* *Over 38,000 NCC Cadets* participated across all *33 districts of Gujarat and the UTs of Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu* , promoting fitness, mental well-being, discipline and holistic development. The large scale participation in the International Yoga Day reflects our continued commitment towards nation building through development of disciplined, healthy, confident and socially responsible youth who will lead us towards a Swasth & Sashakt Bharat

On Veer Baal Diwas, 40 cadets from 27 Gujarat Bn NCC, Jamnagar, visited OM Training Centre for children with intellectual disabilities, spreading joy through drawing, painting, and footprint games. The special children reciprocated with energetic dances, fostering social bonds, confidence, and smiles all around.

This heartwarming exchange highlighted the spirit of unity and compassion.

The Era of Tyranny (1975): When the courts dared to call out the corruption, they didn't bow to the law, they broke the nation. Election fraud wasn't just a charge; it was the trigger that strangled democracy to protect one chair.

The Middle Years of Plunder (1980s): The torch of corruption wasn't dropped; it was passed down. From the kickbacks of Bofors that compromised our defence, to the Maruti Affair that mocked our industry, the pattern remained broken: Family First, India Last.

The legacy continues...

The Inheritors of Greed: They shifted from stealing elections to stealing land. From the Haryana Land Deals to the monumental misappropriation of the National Herald. They created hollow companies to swallow national assets.

Same surname. Different scams.

They watered this tree with entitlement. They sheltered it with impunity.

But a New Bharat does not live in the shade of this poisonous tree.The era of entitlement is over.

The roots are being exposed. The branches are being pruned. The shadows are lifting.

Daily Allowance to Associate NCC Officers (ANO) and NCC Cadets for the journey performed in connection to Camps and Courses has been revised to Rs 265/- per day from earlier rates of Rs 130/- (ANOs) and Rs 125/- (Cadets).
The expenditure will be shared between Central and State governments in the ratio of 75:25 (excepts J & KL, NER States and Sikkim) respectively.
