Kuki Inpi Jiribam, Tamenglong & Noney (Kuki Inpi JTN) strongly condemns the deliberate burning of Nungthut Kuki Village and Khongmol Kuki Village on 8 July 2026 at around 5:30 PM. Innocent civilian homes torched in cold blood.

🆘️Thingkhongjang village under Kpi Dist was attacked today by bloodthirsty NSCN (Muivah) Terrorists in broad daylight & right under the watch of fcoy @86Bncrpf, stationed within the village limits.
Despite their immediate & overwhelming presence, the CRPF jawans stood idle & failed to intercept or deter the Terrorist attack. As a direct result of their cowardice, a helpless young child & an elderly mother sustained bullets & shrapnel injuries, paying the brutal price for both Terrorism & institutional incompetence.

Another Kuki life has been lost today while the media remains flooded with reports on the release of 14 Kuki individuals who were illegally detained by SDSA and UNC. While we appreciate the humanitarian act of releasing the detainees, we must also condemn the ongoing and relentless killings of Kuki people carried out by Kacha Naga Tangkhul-led NSCN-IM and ZUF-Kamson renegades.

(L) Haokhogin Lhouvum of Lasan Village, Tamenglong District, was brutally killed today by NSCN-IM and its proxy ZUF(Kamson), while on his way to work. He leaves behind his wife, a young son and a family now burdened with an irreplaceable loss. The continued loss of innocent lives demands urgent attention and accountability.

🚨In an poignant Article titled "Masters of our Own destiny" by K.Sema (Retd IAS) published in Morung Express, the real Indigenous Nagas of Nagaland has strongly called out the Tangkhul-led NSCN-IM, branded the "Tax collecting Mafia Factional Industry beyond the borders" of trampling on the rights of the only Legitimate stakeholders of Nagaland with flagrant arrogance, an act described as outright Tangkhul insult that brazenly spat upon the intellect & self-respect of the real Nagas of Nagaland.

■The article warns that the Pan Naga Hoho (PNH) is a dangerous & sinister design by the NSCN-IM to create a monstrous supra-statutory body, a Frankenstein institution that would lord over democratically elected governments across Nagaland, Arunachal, Manipur & Assam, even after any political settlement.

■Under the complete stranglehold & Iron-clad control of Tangkhul leaders, the NSCN-IM shamelessly exploits a duplicitous & opportunistic dual identity, acting as the elder brothers of the Meiteis while in Manipur & asserting dominant & full-fledged Naga status when in Nagaland.

■The article firmly reminds the indigenous Nagas of Nagaland that the epicentre of the Indo-Naga political issue originated in Nagaland, not in Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, or the "Nagalim."
It points out that Nagas living beyond Nagaland's borders were generously given ample opportunities to integrate with Nagaland state during & after its formation. But the so-called "southern brothers" (Manipur Nagas, led by the Tangkhuls) consciously chose to remain in Manipur. Having made that choice, they have no moral right to dictate the political future of Nagaland.

■So, the Nagas of Nagaland must now assert complete ownership of their political destiny rather than allow it to be dictated & violated by anyone from beyond the borders, especially those Tangkhul led Manipur Nagas & NSCN-IM, who once rejected joining them.
