I have put up a FREE lesson. First in a series on Rivers. Focus on how the Long and cross profile change. It is more than AQA spec asks for but I think the background actually makes understanding easier - even with more content.

Identifies that we don't really know what students have done with the input we have provided or the circumstances in which they have produced the output we have had back. Use of strategic assessment methods to identify the gaps and, lastly, where and when we fill the gaps.
@olicav Thanks for the input - Looking at it again I can see that would look better. I love your style, makes things look so much more professional. Will keep practicing.
@MrsHumanities Mine sit in and inner and outer U-shaped. It facilitates discussion. Surely the pedagogical decisions in my class are mine to make.

@pauldixtweets I find myself diving in too quickly. Hard to hold back a change when you know it would help but doing it all at once just means that none are implemented properly.
@Sarah_Geography Love the idea of place vs space. Always get my students to draw the map of their world and see how much no-man's-land there is in between the places that are relevant to them that is just filler.
All sorts of interesting points in this article. #geographyteacher

@MrsHumanities Don't let it anger you. Not easy but it is a government lashing out for people to blame. The vast majority of people support teachers in making sure it is safe for their children to return and if anything they have seen how much we care about our students.
@shiv_teaching I have always thought the 2016 GCSE did a good job of this. My case studies that are no more than 10 years old. I have major case studies from Brazil, Nigeria, Malaysia. The fieldwork demands that students get out at least twice and understand a range of techniques.
