Honestly, when I saw the video, I couldn’t laugh. I just felt pity.

I found myself wondering about the rough roads she must have walked, the nights she may have cried herself to sleep, worrying about how to pay school fees and other expenses.

I thought about the days she might have gone hungry simply because there wasn’t enough money for food.

Yet, despite it all, she made it to graduation.

Maybe she just wanted to feel beautiful, to feel included like everyone else. She found that wig, wore it with confidence, and hoped to be seen.

She was noticed..but sadly, not in the way she imagined. Instead of celebrating her achievement, the internet turned her into a joke.

I didn’t find it funny. I found it heartbreaking.

None of us knows the battles she fought to get to that graduation stage. The patches in that wig may tell a story of years of struggle, sacrifice, and resilience.

I sincerely hope this marks the end of those difficult days and the beginning of better ones. I hope she finds favour in the labour market, succeeds beyond expectations, and one day wears any wig she chooses..not because she has to prove anything, but because life has finally been kind to her.

Nigeria keeps saying it doesn’t have enough doctors.

We have only about 50,000 doctors serving over 200 million people. That's 1 Doctor to over 4,000 patients.

You'd expect every doctor willing to serve to be encouraged.

Instead, one is detained after carrying out a menstrual hygiene outreach in Kaduna State.

Another 238 young doctors who returned home to practise wake up to an unexplained increase in their induction fees from ₦265,000 to over ₦415,000.

We cannot keep discouraging the very people we desperately need.

I respectfully appeal to the @KadunaMOH, @GovKaduna, @WHONigeria, @NGRSenate, @NGRPresident, and @Fmohnigeria to ensure Dr Al-Amin regains his freedom, and to the @MDCNOfficial to review this new fee.

Destigmatizing Mental Health

So I took a friend who had a breakdown lately to the psychiatry hospital in Yaba Lagos.

They saw a consultant, registration was 7k & the session was like 2+hrs, it was very extensive & helpful

She got diagnosed & she had an encouraging conversation with the social workers, they even made her laugh!

She was scheduled for tests, therapy sessions & an appointment with a professional. She was also given prescribed affordable drugs!

They also took her number and that of her family members + closest friends, they spoke to the family member & friend. They promised to routinely check up on her, including house visits if needed!

If you are having low mental health, I encourage you to go to the psychiatry hospital in Yaba, it is worth a try. Nigerians suffer a lot from poor access to mental health care.

I am sharing this story to help destigmatize mental health & illnesses. I will also keep sharing updates on my friend's progress!

The Pharaoh in Aso rock increased international passport fees from 50k to 100k last year.
He has increased tertiary institutions schools by over 300% since 2024.
Now he has taken WAEC and NECO from 27,000 to 50,000
He also removed general electricity subsidy and cooking gas went from 700 to 2000 within 2 years.

So tell me exactly, you APC b*stards the benefit of supporting Tinubu?
