Mar has thin atmosphere and much lower gravity. It will only require the lighter leg, thinner heatshield. Lunar landing will be simpler. Earth landing is possible but they will catch it for lighter dry mass.

@deeph20inlv @esherifftv Maybe, the next flight or the next of the next. Starship still has a problem in flap. They changed the location of flap. So, they have to test it for precise landing before attempting it. The 2nd tower should be ready because the 1st tower may not ready to catch twice.

@dobbing83 @jhoblik @esherifftv It's not big change because the safe zone is arranged for Super Heavy Booster in case of abnormal trajectory. Starship already landed precisely in IFT-5. So, FAA has no excuse to block it.
So, the soft landing nearby Starbase is easy if SpaceX want it.

For Lunar landing or Mar landing, the much lower gravity will not require a heavy leg and sturdy structure for leg landing.

So, nitrogen is main type when you replicate our Earth air
