@supmx01@NASASpaceflight If the data is good then it's likely that the SP will be enough, hopefully we don't need to wait too long until they launch again aha
@joshdownes2001@joneso1878@The92Bible I think we're in a better position than most coming up. We've already got scalable infrastructure for the PL, £220m for winning the playoffs and we've developed low cost players who will sell for big profits. Take Rigg for example, didn't cost a penny but could get £30m+ for him.
@vtoman@MAstronomers Andromeda is visible to the naked eye it's just its angular size is nowhere near this large, to the naked eye in low light pollution it looks like a faint smudge
@CSI_Starbase Just speculation but if I had to make an educated guess, could a methane leak have stemmed flow to the engines causing them to run oxidiser rich? It's a possible explanation to the burnthrough on the RVac due to higher temperatures and then the subsequent RUD.
@MarcusHouse It looks like a similar issue to last time, there was fire in the engine bay just before it happened and the engines seemed to RUD violently. There has to be a serious design flaw somewhere if the same thing at nearly the same time in flight has happened again.
@smmmmss2@crispxxcy@StarshipGazer I stand corrected, I remember there being confusion and talk of the FTS being installed at the Production Site last flight. My apologies.
@smmmmss2@crispxxcy@StarshipGazer FTS wasn't installed at the launch site for the last flight if I recall, it would suggest they install FTS explosives at a different location.
@jubsthelesser@NASASpaceflight Yes, a license for IFT-6 has already been granted. Although most likely we won't see the next flight until mid November at the very earliest. Still a very rapid turnaround aha.
@lefthandinsight@AdamCuker@julia_bergeron@NASASpaceflight 3 I think, one way to distinguish between the two is by seeing how much unignited fuel comes out of the engine bell before the engine lights. With Raptor 3 it's minimal whereas with Raptor 1 and 2 there is a slight delay of a second or two while the engine spoils up.
@NeoGameCenter1@jhoblik@esherifftv The current zone heads out East in the Gulf of Mexico, if they wanted to bring the ship back to Starbase they would have to re enter over the US mainland from the West due to their trajectory
