North America’s smallest falcon, the #AmericanKestrel, prefers to nest in tree cavities along roadways, streams, ponds or on the edge of forests. They can be seen perching on utility wires or hovering over open fields in search of prey. #falcon

The history of the WSC is centered around wolves and wolf research. In 1976 a team of biologists established a captive gray wolf research lab known simply as "The Wolf Project". (1/4)
Although the Center no longer receives federal funding, its distinctive research continues. However, since achieving 501(c)(3) status in 1991 it has concentrated its assets and knowledge on educational programming (see available programming at https://t.co/DrAyTNgjVL). (3/4)
