@larshallenius@andermann_mark@andrewlutas@Oren_Amsalem@richlyn_jesseba@JustinMcMahon_ @JDimidschstein @blsabatini I think the common hypothesis is that the brain is making predictions, and if it is incorrect, an error signal updates the future prediction. For us, the "prediction" is hypothesized to drive brain plasticity directly independent of error signals so it is a little different.
