@psyc220 #CD7 I’m going to be a clinical psychologist.I believe there is a lack of diagnose for mental illness in the POC community.I also believe criminal who are POCs are not considered to be mentally. I will reach out to POC and specifically work w/ them as a psychologist 1/2
@chamomilenottea @psyc220 I love your field of interest. I too agree we highlight and stay aware of the controversial assumptions individual make in crimal cases. I love that you also included finding ways to fix/improve this issue as well. @psyc220 #CD7
@ElliePsyc220 @psyc220 I love that you’re choosing to help in a school it almost sounds like k-12 which it’s so needed. I do agree with the rest of your statement, especially as you want to appear your there for both individuals in the situation. @psyc220 #CD7
@GCurcurato @psyc220 While it is a moral ethic to be more specific I believe this would be considered an ethic of the community. As she speak with words such as “we”. Many can see the idea if not voting as lack of loyalty they can also see voting as a civil duty and not do so is bad
#220Ethics @psyc220 This tweet addresses protecting the individual and their rights as a citizen-ethics of autonomy. Aiming at justice for the people. Veterans specifically in this case stemming from a denied rights and unfair treated.
Democrats pushed to pass the PACT Act to provide support for veterans exposed to toxic substances during service. This week veterans' health facilities will begin screening patients to ensure they receive the care & benefits they deserve. This is critical.

#CDb @psyc220 When just googling the word inspirational individuals a multitude of them are images of inspirational porn. What makes an disabled individual inspirational compare to others. Why do all images have a certain type of disabled individual as it if can be categorized.
#CD5a @psyc220 there are a multitude of barriers disabled individuals face everyday while on campus. For starters, when we kick or just even use the handicap open door features when not needed.Or when we sit in the handicapped seats on the ICS bus. Thinking w/o consideration.
@ananemily_p220 @psyc220 #CD5b @psyc220 I agree with everything you've said. I love that you highlighted the assumed differences people have about disabled individuals. While it is not a good thing to showcase the disabled community as different, ignoring their differences worsens the situation.
@JuliaDAgostino2 @psyc220 #CD5A @psyc220 I love that you used the word glamorizing as if were shocked disabled individuals can do certain things. It is the same thing when people compare, disabled individuals to non-disabled individuals.
@zay_m07 @psyc220 #CD5a @psyc220 I love that you bring awareness to this issue. I also agree that universities often lack accessible entry to buildings, or the already existing ones are not easy to use or find. They also make the commute to class longer for disabled or handicapped individuals.
@OliviaLouden @psyc220 #CD5b @psyc220 While the statment can be very encouraging, it does not show the difficulties that disabled individuals face to be able to complete these task. I wonder if inspirational porn really inspiring?
#CD4 @psyc220 sister, grandmas which affects the overall household in some manner(Less income). Solidarity is great for having a better chance at an overall change, but hard to achieve efforts are made by the transnational feminist theory 2/2
@chamomilenottea @psyc220 I love that you spoke about the negative idea we have when it comes to feminism, not all men are anti women/anti-equality. I love that you included the gap many individuals try to avoid and deny @psyc220 #CD4
@MegCassidy26 @psyc220 I like how you highlighted this stigma surrounding feminism. Often Individuals are scared to be “pro feminism” because they think it’s anti-men. When we aren’t trying to separate genders be make it fair for all. @psyc220 #CD4
#CD4 @psyc220 Solidarity between individuals/groups of oppression is possible but no deep ties tend to exist outside of oppression.Relying on individuals to often connect with their own racial group,70 % of people marry in their own race.Gender base oppression affects mothers 1/2
@nelltuckk @psyc220 2017 seems a few years way yet we realize it’s been 5 almost 6 years since and we are still facing issues like this. Many governments workers and officials lie to receive votes yet have no intention of change, it’s sad. @psyc220 #CD3b
