And @peet2 you are spot on. And I don't pretend to be an expert . But in this crazy age of VAR @FansAgainstVAR_ I am struggling to wrap my head around. We were sold on clear and obvious for VAR and that to me is not realty.

While Dave is correct about the VAR application of slo-mo violating its guidelines - the problem is, FIFA’s statement not only doesn’t reference this it’s upheld the red card and simply suspended the punishment. And the lack of transparency how they got there is the core prob.
