@youngvulgarian Some of my clothes are my link to people who are gone. My grandmother's kimono. My uncles jacket, which is now my dog walking coat. My mum's best friend's scarf. I wear them all regularly, and I love your words - a patchwork of people stretching through time.
@michaelastracha@HughFW@globegroupcic I really enjoyed your key note speech - some of the examples of innovation to restore nature across the world were amazing (particularly the coral reef work!). Thank you for coming to Staffordshire.
@HughFW@michaelastracha@misskcopeland@globegroupcic I enjoyed your keynote speech, what stuck with me was "food has stories" - this sparked loads of ideas for me! I didn't manage to catch you at the book signing, but am currently reading my copy of 30 plants and getting inspired 😁 thank you for making the trip to Staffordshire.
Now that peaceful #climate protests have been banned and criminalised in many countries, guess there’s no need to ever worry about having our streets blocked again, right?
Nice walk and coffee at @TrenthamEstate to start the weekend. Always good to receive a discount for using my @KeepCup as well, but there were still far too many people using single use cups. @TrenthamEstate why don't you use reusable mugs as standard in your cafe?
@annafrancisart@appetitestoke@CanalRiverTrust If you can find a copy of Roger Phillips Wildflower book, that's a firm favourite in our house. Would love to hear more about this project!
Elon, forgive me, but there is no excuse for being such an utter berk about this. I’m white and a Christian. No one is chucking bricks at my church or telling me to go back to where I come from. I’m concerned about attacks on the communities that are actually *being* attacked.
