Infineon w/a pretty bad quarter...rev/guide max in-line w/buy side, margins below. But AI (spoiler in the slides that they raise the '27 AI guide materially, a next Q thing i guess) and orders (>2x b2b, backlog +5B q/q implies ~9B in orders) might save the day imo... https://t.co/E9agKmOOst slide 55 + slide 67
@aleabitoreddit https://t.co/ObTfR4Y0ta baml sees 5B rev in humanoids by 2035. Mkt cap 9B, ~5B for core automotive & industrial biz, i'd say 1-1.5B for defense & space opportunities, so ~2.5-3B for the humanoids biz...to be fair in 2027 humanoid revs only gonna be in the area of 100M
@OptionsHawk $AAOI had ~30%q/q datacenter growth and guides to further 70% q/q growth in segment...from a narrative "DC" is now "AI"...bodes well for multiple expansions (AI) and est raises (upcycle) at other optical cos. $COHR $LITE... $MTSI also guided dc q/q + 50%...maybe a theme? n=2
Dan Ives 🦄yday initiated $PLTR at o/p w/PT $25 calling it the "Messi of AI", 2y ago pbly would have called it the "Belichick of SPACs"...2.5y ago the "LeBron of AI"...ah, wait he actually used that one for his Jan'21 init of $AI w/PT $200, cut to neutral in May'22 w/PT $16 🤡
@MuppetTrading if 20% of the obese (~40% of US) would use GLP-1 drugs, that could be up to a 2% headwind to food consumption imo (20% x 40% x 15% = 1.2% x factor these obese consume more than average)
@VetTechTrader@CapitalObserver ASP the only other highlight, but will already come in (prob by a lot) next q, also think it's funny that u don't hear of cFX growth now that it is a tailwind (guess e.g. service growth is just in the low to mid teens cFX now vs 20%+ cagr guidance...also helps the ASP)
@CapitalObserver@VetTechTrader imo it's the tax rate...seems like a huge surprise at 15% for fy18. should lead to a derating tho on the decel over time
