Some of them are hilarious.
If I painted the Eiffel Tower in American, would it become mine or American property?
This Thai person commented under my tweet and then blocked me, probably knowing their reply was irrelevant. So why expose your own character like that? 😂
@AMANYAD44214131 Same opinion. GMMTV has tied its own neck with a rope. The longer they stay silent, the tighter it gets, making it harder to escape cultural appropriation accusations. Perhaps they're waiting to justify their actions.
Myanmar people need to be careful too.
Deleting twitter for a while. I hate seeing all this racism, colourism, homophobia, misogyny, & goodness knows what new kind of “phobic” or “ism” thai bl actors are cooking up. It makes me uncomfortable, & I feel myself become short-tempered, agitated, mean, & sensitive. +
@_2PiEr_ Thanks for the information. But, no Burmese person has approached me to say bad things about Thai people so far.
From what I've learned through the media, though, they have suffered a lot because of their military.
I'll look into the things you mentioned.
Good day!
This Burmese person just slapped Thai nationalists in the face with accurate historical sources, exposing their attempts to pass off Burmese costumes as Lanna.
Some Thai nationalists use history as an excuse to rebrand Burmese costumes as Lanna. But people aren't stupid.
@_2PiEr_ Go research first about the painting you show. This is about Burmese man&woman.Being shown in temple of your land doesn't means it is your culture. Learn to research what's this about. There're paintings that show other cultures in every countries, but need to not describe as yours.
So, please ask GMMTV for specific clarification and accurate credit on which elements represent Burmese, which represent Lanna, and which are Tai... Okay?
They are the producers, and they have already admitted using these cultures. Not me!

@ryuuuuuppk I've been reading about Burmese, Thai and Lanna these days.
Still, I don't know much about Tai sub-ethnicities. But GMMTV has admitted using Burmese culture. A mural painting shared by a Thai person also featured Burmese-style dress and was labelled as Burmese.
Crying for attention?? They are actual people of that country asking for proper credit, it’s only becoming ugly becz people like you keep invalidating them by saying bs like this so STFU
My dear Myanmar people's ilysm The way you all are standing together for your culture is genuinely inspiring. I truly admire your unity and courage, and I hope your voices are heard and you get proper credit too #RecognizeMyanmarCultureHeritage#ScarletHeartTH
We're just softly asking for a little respect and proper credit for our culture with a tearful heart.. but why do we have to face such harsh words? 🥺💔 We just want our heritage to be seen gently, not to fight anyone na😭

Okay, I've had enough of this Thai 🇹🇭 drama. I've done my part in speaking up for the truth, and that's enough for me. At least I can be satisfied knowing that I dared to stand up for truth and justice.

Mural paintings in Lanna temples weren't drawn when Lanna was under Burmese rule. They appeared because Burmese entrepreneurs travelled back and forth between Burma and Lanna. Some even settled in Lampang. Old Lanna under Burmese rule was lost to floods.

1940 Thai-ification is waving at you.
Lanna was Burmanized before joining Siam. But Ayutthaya hated Burmese, so they Thai-ified Lanna. Later, 1940 laws enforced Thai uniformity to build one Thai spirit, erasing Burmese influences on Lanna.
