@americanperidot Noooo. I waited until the day after my daughter and son-in-law posted. It's their news, not mine. I'm sorry your mil doesn't get that.
@My_Sky_Eye@1ittleMERSmaid@SBMPediatrics Yes. I weaned my second onto the bottle when she was 3 1/2 months old because I was deeply depressed and at that time, parents were warned that antidepressants would make breast milk poison. I was devastated. It hurt for many years after.
@PortiaMcGonagal@ask_aubry Exactly as it should be. I would never set things up so my son had to choose but his wife is his first person and that's all to the good.
Also, her kid's just acting like any 14 yo.
@WatTyler2022@EM_RESUS Yes, same. I'm on hold with my doc's office right now. Worst case is they send me to the ER, where I'll have to see someone who isn't an expert in my condition. Many listen, but some refuse.
@RBryan2@kevinmyoung@Zeldacat47 We all know how to proof text, Bryan, and any one of use can justify our behavior by using scripture out of context. It doesn't make you special.
@LauraRbnsn I assume it's the same thing that drives many people to keep a loaded gun by the bedside when home invasions are rare, while accidentally shooting your kid when they come home late is much more common, and a member of your family using that gun for suic!de is most common of all.
@cblatts This is really central. Make sure they know that they need to put their phone on do not disturb during this time, too. If the work requires flow, you have to set up your situation so that can happen.
@LauraEatsVeg@MsPackyetti Right. My (white) grandma went to the salon every week to have her hair washed and set. My other grandma washer her own hair, but rolled it and maintained if for a week at a time. By the 80s, all the women in the family were washing daily.
@donovanreyno1ds @Sebastian2Blue I'm thankful that someone as young as you took the time to understand it so well. It was profoundly distressing to witness the increase in human suffering during his administration.
@12841chelmno@donovanreyno1ds @Sebastian2Blue My late husband voted for Reagan in the first election in which he was eligible. He voted for Democrats ever after and always regretted that first vote. I wasn't eligible by then, but I remember his presidency well. The man was totally heartless.
@JoLuehmann Meh. It doesn't matter. My faith tradition comes from the animating force of the universe by way of many people and other traditions. If it didn't come to me by way of many humans, it would be all love and no horror. I'm grateful for all that's beautiful, wherever it came from.
