Does anyone else find it odd how - for years - conservatives called environmentalists hair-shirt wearing communists… But now, how fast conservatives are to ignore the economics on renewable energy? 🤔
If you've walked past The Forum site recently, you may have seen it looking greener - the green wall installation is under way!🌿
🌳 With 600 square metres of plants, the wall will be equivalent to 32 trees in the city centre - producing oxygen & absorbing carbon.
EU : Storm Katherine combined with ample solar power has resulted in zero or negative prices in almost every European market tomorrow. And we're only in April! The pricing is expected to become even more extreme as we get sunnier days. In fact, the impact of Storm Katherine will result in negative prices in the GB market for a continuous 15 hours tomorrow, leading to the suspension of CfDs in a number of offshore wind-farms and self-curtailment of these wind-farms. Only three northern zones of Norway and Poland have significantly positive prices in the middle of tomorrow, while Macedonian and Italy are just above zero. Stay tuned for more updates! #StormKatherine #SolarPower #RenewableEnergy #EuropeanMarket #EnergyPrices ^PH
@unfoldmybrain Nope - I've used a beautifully crafted PDF version for years. Although, ironically, I was about to give up, as people always ask for "Word" versions (mine was done in LibreOffice)
@theheatinghub Ridiculously rapid uplift. How much is explained by the Great Supplier Collapse(tm) of 2021? We would wager it's quite a large proportion...
@NielsBl85 At home, £45/mo (approx $57) for 70mbps FTTC, since real fibre is still unavailable in swathes of UK. If I had fibre, I'd pay less for higher speeds (i.e. $10/mo less for 160Mbps symmetric).
