@JasonBeck82 I hope you're being compensated for lost revenue during the closure. This is really regrettable. Our provincial sports history should be seen by all games attendees.

In response to ignorant talk of the "artificial line" that "somebody drew" between Canada and the U.S., there's a tangible reminder in North Vancouver (behind the Armoury) that Royal Engineers surveyed the 49th parallel back in 1860. @NorthShoreNews
@jimsciutto The "artificial line" that "somebody [drew]" was agreed in 1818 by the fledgling U.S. in a Treaty with Britain, again in the 1846 Oregon Treaty, and ratified by another treaty in 1909. This Royal Engineers log building housed 49th parallel surveyors in British Columbia in 1860.
Glad to see the West Van Museum will move from its current cramped quarters, but it's hard to imagine that it will be easy to retrofit a former glass-fronted restaurant sitting on pilings above Horseshoe Bay for that purpose. https://t.co/nDXsby5eJe
@sandyjamesplan I was just in Joshua Tree Nat'l Park (on a trip planned last year) and came across a protest supporting park employees. The repercussions of these reckless job cuts could have devastating consequences.
@michaelgeller@HolbornGrp@GlobalTV If the building is in danger of collapsing, why isn't there a security fence around it? Why are pedestrians still able to walk beside it?
Now that's commitment! Two dozen people coming out in the rain to support @KirkpatrickWVC including the previous MLA and previous mayor of West Van. #bcpoli
