@Nukov_ A game designed for everyone is a game for no one.
There are concerns beyond play how you want to play. Development resources, balanceing risk and reward, how do you keep both engaging and not stale, does this compromise the vision, does it actually make the game better, etc.
@ThatARCGuy The unpredicted nature of PvPvE is the sauce a game like this thrives on, when it becomes predictable it becomes stale. When people figured out how the matchmaking algorithms worked is when the player count started to suffer.
@DougPieTTV I hadn't played for 14 months, checked out Draft. Decided to see how bad ladder was, nothing but Thanos.
I made it to infinite with zero cards released in over a year, but it was boring AF seeing the same cards every match.
The game has not changed at all in my time away.
@DarthMicroT I'm pretty sure it's real intention is to accommodate the mega server architecture allowing players to actually be more likely to get a name they want and also easier to communicate with instead of everyone needing a code after their name. eg. Dave#123456
