Thank you @jayparsons for highlighting the Notes from @Novogradac blog on the most recent @HUDUSERnews #LIHTC tenant report. It is one of the most pernicious misperceptions of the #LIHTC. Yes, many of lowest income #LIHTC tenants also have rental assistance, but even those that do not are better off by $100s on their rent than they would be by getting a comparable market-rate apartment. #LIHTC is vital for a wide variety of renters between 0-80% AMI.
