Noyer et al. @Feskelab show that a novel mutation in ORAI1 results in constitutive CRAC channel activation while abolishing stimulation-induced channel opening. The mutation is associated with severe immune dysregulation, incl. altered T & NK cell function https://t.co/egJQM1FRgs
CLNS1A promotes autoimmunity through epigenetic and transcriptional regulation of DNA repair and cell cycle progression in CD4 T cells @SciImmunology@NoyerLucile@St_Feske

New research from @Feskelab suggests that chloride nucleotide-sensitive channel 1A (CLNS1A) is a key transcriptional and epigenetic regulator of pathogenic #CD4#Tcells in mouse models of #autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. https://t.co/Wn6mRdDgvN

We dive into the role of CLNS1A (chloride nucleotide sensitive channel 1a) in T cells. Surprisingly, it does not regulate chloride currents in T cells. We show that CLNS1A interacts with PRMT5, functions as an essential epigenetic regulator of DNA damage response machinerie.

Initial time-of-day of tumor engraftment dictates ensuing tumor size across murine cancer models. Rhythmic trafficking of DCs to dLN governs circadian response antitumor CD8+ T cells via CD80.

I'm very excited to share a review written together with @AymericSilvin @FGinhoux@MiriamMerad in @CellCellPress on macs in health & disease. We share our thoughts on how the field should approach the study of macs & on the field's now pressing questions! https://t.co/PAXvLLMkgb
My fellows are getting jobs. Great, except my lab is shrinking! We will be looking for postdocs to join us in studying how the tumor immune microenvironment (incl. neutrophils) & systemic changes (incl. those caused by stress) control metastasis. Email me: [email protected]
T cell-specific deletion of Orai1 did not exacerbate pulmonary inflammation 🔥 and viral burdens following IAV infection, but protected mice from house #DustMite–induced allergic airway inflammation.
