Imagine someone started a nonprofit for technology to sanitize water.

Their goal was to develop new tech so they could make easily make water sanitary in places where that’s a problem, like sub Saharan Africa. Then give the tech away to help society.

They collected a bunch of money for this charity purpose.

After a few years, they had the perfect technology. Then they heard that they could get a lot of money selling that technology, so they decided to transform the company to a for-profit company so they could be rich.

That’s essentially what Sam Altman did with OpenAI.

The guys running the sub two marathons are getting paid to wear those shoes.

These shoes also will wear out, so you may end up spending thousands of dollars to shave a few minutes off a three hours and 30 minute marathon.

You probably also need to train in the shoe, not just put a strange shoe on for the marathon.

Most of my money is in 401k and no single stocks available, just index funds.

I’m making good bank on the portfolio I have in Roth IRA that I can trade. I took a large position in Nvidia that is paying off.

I also made nice gains in Meta thanks to your analysis!

@wholemars To be honest, I use basic auto pilot and it works great.

Of course, if they let me use FSD in the same situation on highway for free that would be an upgrade.

But if they take it away, they have to do that since it came with the car.
