Unfortunately living in a small town in the shadow of another state’s large city means the politicians on our side of the border rarely get local media coverage.
That produces lots of voters with a lack of information on the candidates and the default is to just go with party.
Kirk Herbstreit is a clown.
ND has BYU, Miami and SMU
Georgia has Bama, Ole Miss, Missouri
Bama has Georgia, Mississippi State, Tennessee and LSU
Spare me the debate about ND having far less challenging opponents
Do you really want to vote for a Texas candidate airing a national ad? Second Paxton ad I’ve seen during this Bears game in Michigan. Would you trust your money with someone like that?
“Would you like to request voluntary departure, or should I issue a removal order?” The judge asked.
“I don’t know,” Angel, 13, replied before bursting into tears. He stared ahead stoically and continued to cry, eventually saying: “I have no one. I have nothing.”
Imagine being the kind of person who still talks about masks in 2026. Now imagine being someone in power that does that. The world moved on nearly half a decade ago but Brad’s still out here being a baby becuase all his freedoms were oppressed because he had to wear a mask
since becoming president again, Trump has promised:
-$5000 stimulus checks via "DOGE dividend"
-$2000 stimulus checks via "tariff dividend"
-$1000+ checks via "savings" from expiring ACA subsidies
-$5000 "dividend" if Rs win midterms
no checks have been issued
Ok, but what if you can’t do math by the fourth grade? Seems like you still have a decent chance of being a politician.
60% of fourth graders can’t read. If there’s a 70% chance they’ll be in jail or on welfare, we’re looking at 42% of the state in that situation…
But even if there isn’t any inventory impact, I’ve had to waste time figuring this out so I can give answers to my buyers when they inevitably ask in panic if they need to stock up this week.
The costs of this stupid trade war go beyond the pure dollars
From what I can tell, Crown Royal bottles some product in the US. That product is imported in a way that makes it exempt from the ban (maybe barrels, most likely tanker trucks). Not sure how much US-sold Crown is US-bottled, so not sure of the inventory impact
