Liberal woman confronts a man who put up an American and British flag and tells him to take it down because "it's offensive"
"We live in a multi cultural world"
It's a really valuable skill to be able to listen to all perspectives without shutting them down. Even if you don't agree, why not be informed about what perspectives are out there? It literally only benefits you to know what others believe and are listening to. It's intelligent.
if Trump starts to waver here on Iran, i fully expect some new, juicy Epstein file releases implicating him further and more salaciously
it’s barely a “conspiracy theory” to note that he’s done a literal 180 on this issue, and is there is better than decent probability he’s doing all of this now due to a combo of blackmail, bribery, and maybe death threats
like seriously, it doesn’t take a tin foil hat anymore to see how the pieces fit together
his admin and his legacy have now been fully sacrificed for this cause now
in exchange he gets to live and his family will become even wealthier
never forget just several months ago, this admin told you there are no files and that it was all a democratic hoax
now we get partial drops of the most depraved shit we've ever seen implicating the elite class
even after they expend significant effort government resources to scrub it. that's the crazy part. one can only imagine what the FBI agents working overtime on this have seen and were forced to redact
you're literally just seeing the tip of an iceberg- one which would still remain invisible to you were it not for Thomas Massie, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Ro Khanna, and a scant few others
and now we will probably start the next conflict of the month to flush this out of the headlines. a foreign war or a domestic crackdown against the people
honestly, fuck this shit
I don’t know her name, but amazed by how she took apart the sickening duplicity of India’s self-proclaimed liberals.
Two-and-a-half minutes of utterly satisfying demolition.
"Capitalism created the possibility of the win win win. It used to be a zero sum game where somebody won, somebody else lost.
The biggest mistake people make, intellectuals in particular, they still think we're in a zero sum world. They're obsessed with some billionaires because Bernie Sanders thinks that Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk somehow stole the money from the people.
They don't understand that it's this prosperity machine that's creating more, not just for those billionaires, but for everything that they're touching. They're creating value for their customers, they're creating value for their employees. Their suppliers are flourishing, their investors are seeing their capital go up. It can be reinvested and compound.
All philanthropy ultimately comes from business. That's where the profits are.
Where does all the taxes come from? It ultimately comes from business as well.
This is the engine that's lifting humanity out. The entrepreneurs are the drivers of that engine. Somebody like Elon Musk, he gets a very, very, very tiny sliver of the value that he creates for the whole world."

2020. Chuck Schumer criticizes Trump for not bringing an end to the Maduro regime.
Schumer: "The President brags about his Venezuela policy? Give us a break. He hasn't brought an end to the Maduro regime."
Trump says the U.S. will “run” (that is, occupy) Venezuela for the time being, tightening its grip on the world’s largest proven oil reserves. Europe’s ex-colonial powers, meanwhile, have welcomed the U.S. kidnapping of a sitting president. So much for the idea that colonialism is dead.
The Vomit Test: David Friedberg explains the trillions of dollars being “legally” stolen from federal spending
@friedberg:
“My guess, tip of the iceberg, @elonmusk's estimate was 20% of federal spending falls under this kind of fraud camp, it could be more.”
“And then when you add in state and local spending and you start to do the accounting on all of this, we're probably talking about a sizable percentage of overall GDP that is effectively theft through government agencies or government checks being written.”
“And I think that's gonna be the great uncovering of 2026, we're gonna see on the order of trillions of dollars of this sort of behavior happening across the economy.”
“And I also think the other side, nothing will happen. And I think nothing will happen because the cost is gonna be so significant, it's almost like staring into the abyss. It's gonna make people feel sick to try and address it.”
@DavidSacks:
“How do you differentiate between legal theft and illegal theft?”
“Meaning, I think what the Somali daycares were doing was outright fraud and is illegal, but when Stacey Abrams creates an NGO in the final days of the Biden administration and that gets stuffed with $2 billion, I mean, technically, I guess that's legal, but it's clearly a different kind of theft and fraud.”
Friedberg:
“Would you throw up in your mouth when you heard the news? That's the test.”
“If you don't pass the common sense ‘vomit in the mouth’ test, it doesn't matter whether it's legal or illegal, it's f***ed up, and you'll realize that pretty quickly.”
History shows us that having too much debt during an economic downturn leads to a classic, self-reinforcing cycle where:
1) The empire can no longer borrow the money to repay its debts
2) It prints a lot of new money, which devalues the currency and raises inflation
3) Living standards decline, leading to the rise of political extremism
4) Turbulent economic conditions undermine productivity and there is conflict about how to divide the shrinking resources
5) Populist leaders emerge pledging to take control and bring about order
@firebragg@jfdbe Knowledge lets you turn any resource (commodities, computers, labor, money) into products, services, investments. Obviously, unique knowledge is better than widely dispersed knowledge. But it’s knowledge that makes us wealthier than cavemen, who had as much time and physicality.
This is our turning point.
The solution is not to retaliate.
It’s for more people to say the truth, more often, with more courage.
Charlie Kirk lives on through millions.
CNN’s @VanJones68 reveals Charlie Kirk had messaged him the day before he was assassinated to invite Jones on his show for “a respectful conversation about crime and race” in light of their beef about the Charlotte light rail murder
Buying and controlling media platforms.
Firing commentators.
Canceling shows.
These aren’t coincidences.
It’s coordinated. And it’s dangerous.
The @GOP does not believe in free speech.
They are censoring you in real time.
What Jimmy Kimmel said was untrue and irresponsible.
He should lose the respect of the public and ABC should have pulled his show due to the public backlash he deserved
AND the FCC violated the first amendment by threatening ABC and we should be very angry at that
