Thanks for posting this @acoyne. Anyone who believes @ConradMBlack is delusional and doesn’t understand how our constitution and parliamentary system works.
"Its" wealth?
Among the most absurd assumptions in this whole surreal debate is the idea that Alberta, in the vanishingly unlikely event that it was ever permitted to detach itself from Canada, would depart with its entire current territory — including the parts with the oil.
There is zero possibility of this, and even less legitimacy to it. The provinces control natural resources under the constitution of Canada — but under the constitution of Canada, and as provinces of Canada. The minute they cease to be under the constitution, they cease to enjoy any of its guarantees.

There is a third path that unfortunately exists, which is refuse to admit you were stupid enough to be fooled, so you double down on the deception and the corruption. This is the stage that we are in now.
Covid is definitely spread through aerosol transmission and distributed through HVAC systems. This is why we need better Indoor Air Quality Control Measures. Trust the Engineers… They Know!!

While we are building mines faster, we’re also investing in a pipeline of skilled workers who return home safely at the end of every shift.
In Sudbury, the @fordnation government announced a plan to build Canada’s largest mine rescue training centre, training 540+ volunteers annually to keep miners and communities safe.
With thanks to @DavidPiccini, partners at @WSIB, and Mayor @LefebvrePaul for this partnership.
Great analysis by @jackhidary, & very relevant for Canadian #Ai developers. Future economies will be dependent on mastering #Science and #Engineering to develop new technologies in quantum computing, clean energy generation & storage, efficient supply chains, #Fintech & more.
The AI race will not be won with chatbots that predict the next word.
In today’s Wall Street Journal, I argue that staying ahead of China requires a new class of AI models built on physics, chemistry, and quantitative reasoning, not just language and images.
China’s next five-year plan doubles down on materials science, quantum technology, energy storage, and defense. These sectors run on equations, not prompts.
Language models are wonderful productivity tools, but they are not designed to compute optimal alloy compositions, advance semiconductor design, or model high-dimensional financial risk.
Pharma, semiconductors, energy, and financial services represent more than $25 trillion in global output. These industries require quantitative AI trained on lab data, robotic experimentation, and the equations of the physical world.

The guys that tell you polls are reliable, until they don't like them have a new play.
They've created their own polling.
"Maple Polling" Marc Nixon is now promoting Maple Polling after telling you how terrible polls are.
This is next level shit.
They've started their own polling.
Yes, future #Engineering Talent in this country in critical for it's economic success and for our sovereign security. Investing in Engineering Education is vitally important. Glad to see the Government of Ontario is increasing funding levels. @nolanmquinn

@EmJayNabuurs You are correct! This initiative is a joint one between @O_S_P_E and @whiteribbon, and is being held at our Head Office in Toronto, right next to the #North York Civic Centre.
You mean without a resilient, clean energy system advocated for and designed by Professional #Engineers? Yes, you are correct and you are most welcome!!
