Nigeria under President Bola Tinubu is making steady progress in all spheres, but the opposition and their paid propagandists in the media will Arise to project only negative things to give you the impression that it is all doom and gloom.

But Nigeria just enjoyed a 4.43% GDP growth, which is double the global average. We also have the most profitable stock market on the planet, bar none, according to Bloomberg. The inflation rate, which was hovering at 30% on May 29, 2023, has halved, and our foreign reserves are now at an 18-year high of $54 billion.

Nigeria's GDP has added $67 billion in just two years, and we have moved from being the top petrol importer in Africa in 2023 to the number one fuel exporter in West Africa in 2026. This has enabled us to overtake South Africa to become the second-largest manufacturing capacity in Africa, with Egypt only slightly ahead of us.

As of the first half of 2026, Nigeria has experienced 23 consecutive quarters of uninterrupted GDP growth, and we are poised to have the strongest gains in the Naira since 2018, according to Bloomberg.

As a result of these economic strides, the IMF listed Nigeria as the sixth-largest contributor to global GDP growth in 2025, a fact celebrated by Elon Musk, the world's richest man.

Much still needs to be done, and it is being done. However, progress is evident, whether it is 1 million university undergraduates enjoying the NELFUND Student Loans or the expansion of the Nigerian Army from eight to twelve Divisions. The additional 4 divisions will increase Nigerian Army personnel by 28,000 troops.

The President also plans for Nigeria to recruit between 2,000 and 5,000 forest guards per state, depending on the state's landmass.

Nigeria will not overcome her challenges overnight. But under President Tinubu, we are overwhelming our issues over time.
