- Turn invariants into type errors @rustlang @typescript etc.
- Guarantee end-to-end data authenticity, integrity, & confidentiality of all comms @ockam
- Catch malicious dependencies at build time @sigstore @chainguard_dev @snyksec etc.

to get an drastically smaller vulnerability surface.

This is the only tenable approach to security for modern applications - the rest is just satisfying checklists to please auditors.
