@FlatCath Call me crazy, but I don’t think it’s virtuous for a man to call woman a name on the internet. As a trad I am more icked out by the behavior of the men than a woman’s shoulders.
@MarkDGibb@Xtopher_Uzo Nothing wrong. But they weren’t part of Our Lady’s rosary. Praying the Luminous mysteries is fine, as long as they’re prayed in addition to the Joyful mysteries appointed to Thursday. It’s important that the Church prays the rosary in unity each day.
“At seminary in the 60’s, they parked big dumpsters outside one Saturday, and told us to grab all the priestly vestments from the sanctuary. We collected them and tossed them into the dumpster. Myself and another seminarian were disciplined for sneaking out at night to retrieve them from the trash cans.
They said it was necessary for us to move forward. They were cleansing the Church of anything that set it apart from the modern world.”
@mariaebyrd People have also been falsely lead to believe he is incorrupt, which helps the belief in his sainthood. I hope he is in heaven, but should he be venerated?
@CullumSmith@IntegritasMag We need another East Coast priory. Our chapel (Maryland) is served by Chicago, which makes zero sense. It would be better for the priests to come from closer and have similar weather issues to battle. We’re thankful for what we have, but hope it gets easier in everyone one day.
The SSPX is obeying the institutional papacy. When the church is in a state of crisis, you fall back to what has been traditionally taught.
The SSPX is not disobedient… we are obedient to the Catholic faith and we pray for a pope to do the same.
Only a pope (through Christ) can stop the chaos.
