@SDRPlay Please give SDRconnect the same waterfall quality as SDRuno. Like the dark mode and intuitive GUI, but as said, the WF is just blurry and lacks all detail.
@cybergibbons The non-professional edition is free. I don't mind the GUI, as it is very efficient and works with very small signals. Using it for over 12 years now.
@PD0SWL Paul, de werking van de YouLoop en de Airspy Discovery in de Auvergne was subliem, mede door de rustige omgeving. Signalen sprongen gewoon uit de ruisvloer. Zelfs Bangkok met. op 8743 kHz. Een waar genot. Ben aan het denken over een project met dikke Cellflex.
@G7Jtt@airspy_com I had this happening for years. When I went out searching for the culprit, I could locate the interference coming from a house 30 meters from my antennas. I stuck up enduring it for 3 years. Now this neighbour has moved away. All is quiet now, but do not know what caused this.

@PD0SWL Paul, it has been a while, so I can't remember. The NDB band was very clean, tough. The beacons are very pronounced and there the noise floor was extremely low.
@PD0SWL I have two of the development models. The newer one has a very low noise floor and signals are a bit less strong, but the SNR is improved significantly compared to the original miniwhip design from Roelof. Using the older miniwhip as the noise antenna in my diversity setup.

@PatrickPierre73 Still, the presence of the alu pole does affect the signal. I have experimented with all kinds of setups and hights over many years use. A non conductive pole, double or quadruple shielded coax and the use of several common-mode chokes and a separate earth does make magic.
@g4bao Maybe Heata, based its development on old power hungry computers. I think by now intelligent folks have changed to newer energy friendly models. Only factory's and office blocks can use this technology.
@SaltyWaltHudson Only to be used on transmit. For receive, it is a bad performer. It simply has a too high noise floor. Also, my cobweb 5 bander is marginally better on transmit and receive.
