@BrandonLuuMD There have been many blind taste tests, including of judges in wine competitions, validating your point. I once had a blind wine tasting party at my house and, despite expensive wines being included, Trader Joe's smiley face wine won. The sommelier ranked it second 🙂
@TTxuska96402@citrinowicz While the 250th anniversary is more important/symbolic, I don't think events in the middle east would "greatly overshadow." The vast majority of Americans don't pay much attention to international events. They're just concerned about the price of gas at the gas pump.
@LSUtigerTrack@MilkRoad Good comparison. Trump seems to think it's a matter of "a deal" but I don't think the IRGC is thinking like a group of real estate developers...
@drjasper_eth 23% of m2 money supply is required to be paid in taxes using dollars. All US government spending requires recipients to accept dollars. 13% of m2 money supply is paid under the petro dollar arrangements. Majority of international contracts stipulate dollars. Not exactly "vibes."
@TrustlessState@RyanSAdams There's a high correlation between TVL and ETH, although that can be explained to a large extent by the fact that much of TVL is priced in ETH
@TrustlessState@RyanSAdams There's no mechanism to ensure that the price of ETH increases enough to secure the growing value locked. That's a real risk. On the other hand, ETH can possibly increase without a mechanism. For example, monetary premium.
@AdrianoFeria The recent preferred offering is easily manageable but does add a little fuzziness to the BMNR concept. Because its dividend is 3x the current ETH staked yield it effectively ties up 3x the ETH. And, because ETH pays in ETH, if the value of ETH drops that ratio increases.
@oz_veteran@afshinrattansi I don't know. Per Gemini: "The destroyed ships represented Iran's absolute highest-tier, most modern naval assets and modernization efforts, rather than old legacy vessels."
