I built Oku to scratch my own itch with how confusing and messy the internet has become.
Everyone can now build a personal internet control center with reddit, youtube, producthunt, hackernews, newsfeeds, podcasts and a lot more to keep up with all your interests, in one tab.
I didn't know the image-2 model was capable of doing multiple iterations of logo designs in a single output. None of these look good enough to use, but it's a nice step forward compared to what I used to see.
4 years ago I paid an influencer (sort of) around $250 for an Instagram reel.
The other day, I contacted them again. Slightly higher number of followers, significantly lower average views.
Got asked for $1250.
I built a database to find things to look forward to
It works by pulling thousands of events and releases from multiple APIs and sources, filtering and cross-checking, and then organizing them in feeds and playlists.

Tin Cook, Remember the name
This type of thing has been going on for years, I even remember sending over a hoodie to Vietnam as 'reward' 6 years ago, when I was still very new to the game.
Pretty sure it's working better than ever lately.
@kylejeong There's not really anyone taking her side, here on X at least. She's asking for a $250 CPM, which is completely out of this world. I can imagine people on TikTok defending her though, because they are even more detached from reality than she is.
I've just found a landing page designed to be scrollable horizontally instead of vertically (desktop only), and I realized I never saw something similar before. It certainly looked unique.
If you've never worked with influencers, this is a good example of how insane and out of touch some of them are.
For context: this person averages 800 views on TikTok and 15k (often less) on Instagram, and is asking $4k to post a video. You'd be very lucky to make $200 back with those numbers.
@raqisright You average 800 views on TikTok and around 15k on Instagram (being generous), which makes the CPM you asked for $250. I honestly am not sure if you understand how insane that is.
This is more serious than I'm sure some people may think. Someone of this influence promoting what is, without any doubt, an absolute net-negative in the world, is not a good look for the future.
The President posting a Stake-sponsored photo is wild.
Casino takeover of culture is reaching end-game, where the only question left is how crypto, sportsbooks, and prediction markets will divide the pie.
