Yesterday I did a one day painting class with the great Erik Swinson on The importance of value. I’ve never done a painting class before.

It was hot, the paint dried quickly, but this is what I achieved. Much learnt and much to put into practice still.

@FightingOnFilm The first subtitled movie I ever watched, when it was on BBC2 and I was still at school. Completely mesmerised.

I’ve bought some superb 1/35 figures from the movie (complete with Kurosawa and camera crew) I have to paint up one day.

Quickest mini I’ve ever painted. Maybe 4 - 5 hours.
Warhammer Cryptguard - mini of the month.

Used Mindwork Heavy Body acrylics. 5 colours + black and white. Fun mixing and experimenting.
