The impact of litter on quality of life is a serious concern raised during a recent City2Sea data validation workshop in #TangaCity. Over 14,000 geotagged pictures of litter will help inform litter control strategies for a healthy city and healthy oceans

Following validation of the recently completed litter study results with stakeholders in @TangaCC! The findings will be useful in developing new strategies for solid waste management in Tanga.
We are thrilled to participate in the #City2Ocean Data Validation Workshop held by @WBTanzania on Dec 13 to Dec 14 and to commemorate our achievements thus far. The findings will aid in the development of solid waste management alternatives.
