Everyone should revert to their primary qualification.

Emergency Nurse Practitioner works.

Extended scope physiotherapist works.

But I see “junior practitioner” and “senior practitioner” and want to scream!

As a new FY1, having just certified my very first death - on a very, very, long night shift - I made myself a cup of NHS tea.

The nurse in charge subsequently threatened me with disciplinary action for ‘stealing’.

As a new ICU Registrar in Aus, I was asked for my address - so the hospital could send me a thank you hamper.

The NHS is terrible employer.

Here’s what the judge says:

If you are looking for a “Medically Qualified” professional?

A #PhysicianAssociate is NOT medically qualified

They are “differently trained” which no one knows what it means.

PAs are MEDICALLY NON-QUALIFIED “medical professionals” - thanks to @gmcuk 🤣

You can do mental gymnastics as much as you want - but medically qualified you aren’t - now- as per the law too.

Stop duping the public.

I would have a low threshold for converting to open reduction, even a mini open and a unicortical plate to hold the reduction while I nail it.
