HEC has revamped the Degree Attestation System (DAS) by introducing a fully online and paperless attestation mechanism to facilitate students and graduates across Pakistan.

Under the new system, applicants will no longer be required to physically visit HEC offices or submit original documents. Applications for online attestation can now be submitted 24/7 through the HEC e-Services Portal.

The new e-Attestation Certificate system is designed to provide a secure, efficient, and user-friendly process, with online verification available for attested documents and certificates.

The upgraded online Degree Attestation System will be launched and become effective from 11 May 2026.

حکومت نے پیٹرولیم مصنوعات کو کمائی کا بڑا ذریعہ بنالیا، پیٹرول اور ڈیزل مہنگی ہونے کی وجوہات سامنے آگئیں۔ فی لیٹر پیٹرول پر 198 روپے اور ڈیزل پر 113 روپے سے زائد کے ٹیکسز وصول کئے جارہے ہیں۔

پیٹرول کی ٹیکسز کے بغیر قیمت 216 روپے 68 پیسے بنتی ہے، پیٹرول کی قیمت میں 29 روپے فی لیٹر پریمیم بھی شامل ہے۔

رپورٹ کے مطابق ڈیزل کی فی لیٹر قیمت میں 113 روپے 71 پیسے ٹیکسز شامل ہیں، ٹیکسز کے بغیر اس کی فی لیٹر قیمت تقریباً 301 روپے بنتی ہے، ڈیزل پر 42 روپے 60 پیسے لیوی،32 روپے 48 پیسے کسٹم ڈیوٹی شامل ہے۔

ڈسٹری بیوشن مارجن کی مد میں تیل کمپنیوں کو 7٫87 روپے اور منافع 8٫64 روپے دیا جارہا ہے، 7 روپے 25 پیسے فریٹ مارجن، ڈھائی روپے کلائمیٹ سپورٹ لیوی بھی شامل ہے۔

HEC Launches DLSEI 3.0 Cohort 3, Offers 30,000 Free Coursera Licenses

The Higher Education Commission Pakistan has announced the launch of DLSEI 3.0- Cohort 3, set to commence in April 2026, providing a significant opportunity for capacity building across the higher education sector.

Under this initiative, HEC is offering 30,000 free licenses for online learning through Coursera. The program is open to students, faculty members, and university staff from all HEC-recognized public and private institutions across Pakistan.

Participants will gain access to a vast catalogue of over 18,000 courses, professional certificates, and specializations, covering diverse academic and professional fields aimed at enhancing digital skills and employability.

According to the details, registration began on April 9, 2026, and licenses will be allotted on a first-come, first-served basis.

To apply, interested candidates are required to register through the HEC E-Services Portal (https://t.co/XRFcQxKje2), select the “eCourses” option, submit their application, and complete verification through their respective university focal person.
